Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has recently introduced the OTP Authentication feature which has been launched for minors. This OTP authentication was introduced for minors to play the game more responsibly and video for the same has been also posted a video about it on social media handles. BGMI also announced some limits for minors (under 18) in the past, in which if a minor login to the game, the timer will start automatically in the backend of the application and as soon as the player's playing period exceeds 3 hours. If so, the game will be closed automatically. Along with the time limit, BGMI has also set a 7000 per day limit on in-app purchases.

In Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) OTP authentication process, minors (under 18) have to register on the mobile numbers of their parents and guardians. After registration, if any minor wants to play, then the  OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the parent's mobile number and minors will not be able to play the game until the parents verify that OTP. Please note this is for every gaming session and not a one-time authentication.
