Jersey release postponed due to Corona threat

The effect of the ever-increasing Omicron cases in the country is now being seen in the cinema world as well. To prevent the outbreak of the epidemic, orders were issued on Tuesday for the complete closure of cinemas in Delhi, while in Mumbai already cinemas are allowed to open with only 50 percent capacity. The release of Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film Jersey has been postponed due to circumstances. The film was to be released on 31 December. In a statement issued by the producers, it was said that in view of the current circumstances and the new Covid guidelines, we have postponed the release of our film Jersey. We got a lot of love from all of you and would like to thank you all for all this.

The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer film Prithviraj was also reported to be released on December 27, but in view of the current circumstances, the makers have pushed the program ahead. Now the eyes of the cinema lovers are fixed on the film RRR, which was released on January 7. The film starring NTR Jr and Ram Charan has been made on a very large scale and is to be released simultaneously across the country. However, no statement has been issued by the makers till the time of writing the news.
