50 lakh cheated by jeweler, sold the sand as magical

A case of cheating of Rs 50 lakh has been reported with a jeweller from Pune, Maharashtra. The accused sold 4 kg of sand after saving the magic. This person had assured the jeweler that this special sand of Bengal becomes gold on burning. Now a jeweller from Hadaspur, Pune has filed a complaint. He told that the accused person came to his shop about a year ago and over time he became friends with him. The man also became acquainted with the jeweller’s family. Police said that he used to give milk products, rice, and other items to the complainant’s family. Police said the accused had taken at least 30 lakh rupees and 48 tola gold (worth close to 20 lakh rupees) from the complainant. When the jeweller set fire to the sand, he realized that he had been cheated. The police is looking for the accused.
