America sent warships to the South China Sea

China has sent its fighter aircraft to Taiwan airspace since which tensions between the two have been steadily increasing. Now the US has taken a big step in supporting Taiwan and has sent its aircraft warships in the South China Sea. By this step of the new US government, there are also indications that there is no change in the US policy.

The US military has reported on Sunday that the U.S.S. A group of aircraft warships led by Theodore Roosevelt has entered the South China Sea to ensure ‘Freedom of the Sea’. America has taken this step at a time when the dispute between China and Taiwan seems to be increasing again. The US Indian Pacific Command said in a statement that a group of aircraft warplanes entered the South China Sea on Saturday.

This is the same day that China sent its Ku bombers and fighter aircraft to Taiwan’s airspace. The group of aircraft warships remained at the same location that China calls its territory. Commander of the group, Duff Verissimo, said, “After traveling over this water in his 30-year career, once again coming to the South China Sea, ensuring routine operations, promoting the Freedom of Sea and assuring his colleagues I’m liking it.” The South China Sea is the region where two-thirds of the world’s trade goes. In such a situation, proving possession of one country here makes it difficult for the rest.
