BGMI Important Notice: Login through Facebook (Web) will disable after 5 November
Battlegrounds Mobile India has shared an important notice on social media handles for players and this important notice is only for Android users. BGMI has recently completed 50 million downloads and out of these, maximum players use Android devices to play BGMI. BGMI Developers had shared a notice on August 31st, 2021 for its Android players, which said that any players who log in to the game through Facebook and use the browser to login, this option will be disabled to them in the future.
BGMI has shared the latest notice on November 2nd, 2021, that now players will have to first download the Facebook application on their device to log in through Facebook and the players who will not download this application on their device will not be able to login to the game after November 5th, 2021.
BGMI said in its post "Dear BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA fans,
As we have previously informed you on August 31st, logins with Facebook accounts in the embedded browser of Android devices will be disabled in the future, according to the policy update related to the Facebook SDK.
Accordingly, after the date mentioned below, logins will not be possible unless the Facebook App is installed.
- Login disabled unless the Facebook App is not installed on the device: November 5
- Target platform: AOS (*iOS not relevant)
After November 5th, logins will be disabled unless the Facebook App is installed on your device; we apologize for the inconvenience, but please install the Facebook App to use the game. We apologize once again for any inconvenience caused by the above changes. In case of any changes, please be assured that we will inform you promptly through further NOTICE."
