In view of the serious state of infection in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Central Government has given full strength to mobilize necessary arrangements. Among the important steps taken in this regard, Delhi’s oxygen quota has been increased in view of the huge demand for oxygen. Now Delhi will be provided 480 tonnes of oxygen instead of 378 per day. Along with this, the number of beds in central government hospitals is also being increased continuously. At present it has been increased from one thousand to 4,159, out of which about 730
ICU beds are also included. Along with this, the central government has also made all the necessary arrangements for the uninterrupted movement of oxygen in Delhi. Also, he has ensured that he gets his quota oxygen on time. The entire movement of the oxygen tanker is also being monitored. Meanwhile, in another major initiative, the Central Government has remodeled the five-bed Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Kovid Hospital in Delhi Cantt. About 250 ICU beds had already been prepared.
