Additional charge of Corporation Chief Accountant given to Neelam Khanna
Chandigarh | For the first time, on the direction of the Administrator, additional charge of the post of Chief Accountant in the corporation was given to Neelam Khanna. This order has been issued by the administration in compliance with the order of LPA No. 1375 of 2024 of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Neelam Khanna is on the post of Deputy Controller in the Education Department. However, till now orders for the post of Chief Accountant of MC have been issued by the Finance Department only. Senior Accounts Officer of the Municipal Corporation Surendra Sharma has filed a case in the High Court for promotion to the post of Chief Accountant. He has claimed the post of Chief Accountant as per seniority.
