After several days of agitation, farmers have finally been allowed to take out a tractor rally in Delhi. After meeting with farmer’s organizations on Sunday evening, Delhi Police Special Commissioner Dependra Pathak said, “Farmers will reach Delhi from Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur borders. The rally has been allowed to take 63 km from Tikri, 62 km from Singhu, and 46 km from the Ghaziabad border. During this time they will have to maintain peace and cooperate with the security forces. The Delhi Police has made a big disclosure saying that there is a conspiracy of violence in the movement from across the border. Special Commissioner Pathak said that the rally was getting the input of violence. During the review from January 13 to January 18, we came to know that 308 Twitter handles have been generated in Pakistan to create disturbances in the rally.
Farmers have named the tractor rally the Kisan Republic Parade. Farmers will enter Delhi within 10 km from the Singhu border during their march. Yogendra Yadav, leader of Swaraj India associated with the farmer’s movement, has appealed to the farmers to bring only tractors and not their trolleys inside Delhi for the rally.
