Demand for Indian engineering goods is increasing in abroad: EEPC

China Singapore, Germany, Thailand and Italy are among the nine countries from where the demand for Indian engineering goods has increased in double digits during February. This information has been revealed in the statement of Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EPCC). Accordingly, China is India’s second largest export destination.

Exports from India to China have seen positive growth on a monthly basis and in the period up to February this financial year. Exports to China in February rose 68 percent year-on-year to $ 23.558 million. While, during the period April-20 to February-21, exports grew by 114 percent year-on-year to $ 427.649 million. According to data collected by EEPC, Indian engineering products remain the top-most destination in terms of exports.
