Environmental activist arrested from Bangalore in ‘toolkit’ case

The first arrest came on Sunday in connection with the sharing of the ‘toolkit’ on social media related to the movement of the farmer’s law. The cyber cell of Delhi Police on Saturday arrested environmental activist Disha Ravi (21) from Bangalore, Karnataka.

He was sent to police custody for 5 days after being produced in court on Sunday. He is accused of editing and subsequently advancing the toolkit shared by environmental change activist Greta Thunberg.

In front of the Duty Metropolitan Magistrate Dev Saroha of the Patiala House Court, the police suspected the conspiracy against the Central Government and the involvement of the people associated with Khalistan. Meanwhile, Disha Ravi wept in the courtroom. She told the judge that she had edited only two lines and wanted to support the farmers
