Famitsu magazine has published the sales data for the first week in Japan of the next generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
According to the preview on its website , PlayStation 5 sold more than 118,000 units in the first four days in stores. The best-selling game for her was Spider-Man: Miles Morales, with 18,640 copies. Behind him, tremendously close, we find the remake of Demon’s Souls, with 18,607 copies sold.
On the Microsoft side we have more modest numbers. The combined sales of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X are around 21,000 units sold in six days. It does not seem that Microsoft will go up in Japan, since this number is lower than the one that Xbox One had in its first week in Japan, with 23,562 units, and is still further from Xbox 360, which sold about 60,000 units in its two first days of launch, in 2005. Nor do we know, for now, what is the percentage of the total that corresponds to Series X and what to Series S.
