For the first time, both the lungs of a corona patient are changed, the Indian doctor is also in the surgery team

North Western Medicine Hospital has claimed to have successfully transplanted both lungs of a covid patient for the first time. The special thing is that the person who gave the organ had been a patient of Corona and had recovered from it. However, he later died due to other reasons.

Bharatvanshi Dr. Ankit Bharat, a member of the surgery team, said that this surgery is a milestone. With this, the scale of surgery has been set for the patients of Kovid, who are struggling with life and death. The ‘patient in whom the lung has been transplanted is a 60-year-old health worker from Illinois, who was hit by Corona in May last year. In February this year, he was brought to this hospital. In a week, the donor was sampled and the lungs were successfully transplanted.
