The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that the government is ready to start vaccination work within ten days of the approval of the COVID vaccine. It is believed that vaccination work in India can start on 13 January.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan told the media that four major stores for the vaccine have been set up in Karnal, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata. There are a total of 37 vaccine stores across the country.
Vaccines in these stores will be able to be put together in large numbers, from where they will be distributed. Bhushan has clarified that the Government of India has not imposed restrictions on the vaccines approved in the country. Although this can be done under difficult circumstances, no such action has been taken yet.
