India’s campaign on vaccine also got EU’s support

India’s campaign to free the vaccine from the patent trap critical for the elimination of Corona was a major success when the European Union (EU) also decided to support the proposal related to it. On Friday, the EU’s parliament announced on behalf of India and South Africa to support the proposal to separate the Corona vaccine from the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) rules for a definite interval.

Experts say that after the announcement of the EU, the decision in the meeting to be held under the World Trade Organization (WTO) in the coming month is now quite certain. It is also believed that during the visit of Foreign Minister Jaishankar, who is going to America on a five-day visit from Monday, it will be discussed in detail between India and America.
