Misdeed in Parliament: Australian PM apologizes to victim

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has apologized to a former female government employee. In fact, two years ago a female worker was allegedly raped by a colleague in Parliament House. The woman had told about the incident a day earlier. The Prime Minister promised that the incident and the culture of the capital would be thoroughly investigated.

The woman worker alleged that she was raped by a former aide in the Defense Minister’s office in March 2019 after working in the evening. The woman said that I told the colleague that I had to go home, but the colleague said that he had to get something important from the Parliament building. During this time he committed an incident. The woman did not reveal the identity of the accused. She claims to have complained to the police in April 2019.
