New officers can join Chandigarh this week, there will be changes in departments
There will be a reshuffle in the departments of senior officers in the Chandigarh Administration. Two senior UT cadre IAS may join here this week. The ministry had issued instructions for this on 12 September itself. 2006 batch UT cadre IAS Prerna Puri and 2008 batch UT cadre IAS Swapnil have been transferred to Chandigarh. With these two officers joining Chandigarh, there will be a reshuffle in the secretary level posts again. At the same time, names have already been sent to the central government for the posts of Secretary Finance, Commissioner 1. MC and Deputy Commissioner.
