So far 38 people have been found infected in India with the new form of Coronavirus found in Britain. This includes 29 cases that were announced till Friday.
On Monday, new viruses were detected in six more people. All this returned to Kerala from Britain. According to the Health Ministry, all these people have been kept in isolation by the respective state governments and their contacts are being tracked.
Efforts are also being made to trace these people as well as other contacts with the traveling public and their family members. Genome sequencing of other samples is also taking place. Apart from India, it has reached more than thirty countries.
