Real World cup trophy is picked up in the movie 83: Sahil Khattar
The trailer of the film 83, which shows India's historic victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, was released on Tuesday. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil Dev in the film. Many actors including Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem are in this film. Actor Sahil Khattar, who plays the wicket-keeper as Syed Kirmani, is making his big-screen debut with this film.
In a conversation, he says I used to think that being bald should not become a problem for my career, but it proved to be my strength. I got a chance to play the character of the legend wicket-keeper Syed Kirmani. Every single moment associated with this film was exciting. We have played cricket at Lord's Stadium in London. In the film, we have picked up the original trophy, which was won by the Indian cricket team. Ranveer Singh has become like my elder brother. We used to make songs parodies (mixing one song with another song or tune). The film will release on December 24.
