Men from Saudi Arabia will no longer be able to marry women from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Chad and Myanmar easily. The government there has made strict rules for this. Pakistan newspaper ‘Dawn’ has published a news in this regard. It cites Major General Asaf al-Qureshi, Director General of Police in Mecca.
According to him, ‘Any citizen of Saudi Arabia marries a foreign woman, then he must first get the government’s permission. Application has to be done under long government process. Divorced men will not be able to apply for the next marriage for six months after divorce. The applicant willing to marry a foreign woman must be over 25 years of age. According to the news, those violating the rules may face strict action.
