Singhu Border: Never seen such a scene in the nation’s capital on Republic Day, after a day of uproar, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha shed its wings. By stating the Morcha, it has been said that the farmers ‘organizations have nothing to do with the uproar in different places of Delhi throughout the day in the farmers’ parade.
The parade of farmers started at 8 am from the Singhu border. The farmers were supposed to turn from Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar and return via Bawana, but they were adamant on going to the ring road and all broke away, breaking the police barricades. In view of this, an uproar started between the police and the farmers at Mukarba Chowk. Apart from this, there were disputes between police and farmers in many places including Nangloi, Rohtak Road, Paschim Vihar.
The statement was issued saying that we separate ourselves from those involved in the incident in Delhi. On behalf of 40 organizations, this front said that despite our efforts, some organizations and individuals violated the prescribed route and indulged in slanderous acts. Accusing some organizations that some people have infiltrated our peaceful parade and damaged the movement.
United Kisan Morcha, Media Coordinator and Jai Kisan Andolan (Haryana) President Paramjit Singh said that some other organizations on the Indus broke the barricade on the border in the morning. Artists also tried to provoke the youth and according to their instigation, some antisocial people did many kinds of incidents. The Front condemns all those incidents. He said that our movement will continue in peace even further.
