In view of the shortage of fungus medicine, the Delhi High Court said on Tuesday that the future of the country i.e. youth should be given priority over the elderly. A bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Jasmeet Singh said that many youths have lost their lives. The bench raised the question whether the 80-year-old will take the country forward. He lived his life, according to the ideal situation, we should save everyone’s life, but we have to choose one.
The High Court said that we have to save the young people. However, the Center can make an exception in the policy for those who are serving the country in high positions. and their safety is important. While hearing the matter of shortage of fungus medicine, the bench made the above remarks on the arguments presented by the Central Government. This remark of the court may not have any place in Indian culture and way of life, but the remarks made in adverse circumstances have given rise to a national level discussion. The bench directed the Center to prepare a policy for the treatment of fungus and submit its report on Friday.
