Vishal releases Lataji's song after 26 years
Some Songs have their own journey. Many times, due to the closure of films or not being made, the songs made for those films are kept like this. One such song has been sung by Lata Mangeshkar 'Thik Nahi Lagta...'. Vishal Bhardwaj has brought this song in a new style after 26 years. Gulzar wrote this song.
The song was launched virtually on Monday, in which Vishal and Gulzar were present. Vishal says that I came to Mumbai only with the dream of working with Lataji. When I was composing the song for the film Maachis with her, I was a little nervous. She called me off the mic and said that do not think that I am Lata Mangeshkar. She forgets my name, treats me like a new singer. She learned singing as a disciple, but when taught, then taught by becoming a master. Gulzar says, Nobody can pressure Lataji to sing.
