In recent weeks, specifications and design renders of these phones have surfaced online, creating a buzz in the tech community. The base model, in particular, recently appeared on an e-commerce site, hinting at its potential price range. With the official launch date now confirmed, and a sneak peek at the Vivo X100 Pro's design, anticipation is reaching new heights.

Vivo Watch 3 and Vivo X100 Series Launch Date:

In an official Weibo post, Vivo confirmed that the X100 series will be unveiled in China on November 13 at 7:00 pm local Beijing time (4:30 pm IST). This announcement has set the stage for what promises to be an exciting event. In addition to the smartphones, Vivo is also set to launch the Vivo Watch 3 with BlueOS on the same day, adding to the anticipation for what's to come.

Vivo X100 Pro Design Tease:

The design of the Vivo X100 Pro has been officially teased in a post shared by a Vivo official on Weibo. The phone showcases a stunning blue ripple glass finish, with design inspiration drawn from the sky and various celestial objects. The large circular rear camera module, placed centrally towards the top of the back panel, is a standout feature. It houses four camera sensors and a vertical LED flash unit on the top right corner of the panel, outside the module. This design not only looks sleek but also appears to be inspired by the beauty of the universe, adding a touch of elegance to the device.

Camera Capabilities:

Previous reports suggest that the Vivo X100 Pro is set to feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary rear sensor, a Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and an OmniVision OV64B telephoto shooter with 4.3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the base model is expected to offer similar camera details, with a Sony IMX920 sensor as the primary camera and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. These camera specifications promise exceptional photography capabilities that will delight photography enthusiasts.

Performance and Hardware:

The Vivo X100 series is also anticipated to impress with its performance and hardware. The base model is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the Pro model has been rumored to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. At the top of the lineup, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is rumored to feature Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This hardware, coupled with LPDDR5T RAM, will likely ensure seamless multitasking, fast app launches, and impressive gaming experiences.

Pricing Insights:

Pricing can be a critical factor in a consumer's decision when choosing a smartphone. Reports suggest that the Vivo X100 variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage is expected to be priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,500). This is a notable shift from the pricing of its predecessor, the Vivo X90, which was listed in India at Rs. 59,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 84,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. If the speculated price holds true, it could make the X100 series an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
