Gemini, Google’s advanced AI assistant, is expanding its capabilities with the rollout of a new specialized version called the “Wellness Gem.” This pre-built module is designed to help users focus on both physical and mental well-being through personalized guidance, habit support and educational tools.

Gems—defined by Google as custom variants of Gemini tailored to specific tasks—have been part of the AI’s evolution for some time. The new Wellness Gem joins this growing family alongside modules such as Storybook, Coding Partner, Learning Coach and Productivity Planner. From inside the Gemini app’s “Explore Gems” panel, users can now select Wellness, setting up the module as a friendly companion oriented toward better daily habits.
