New Brighton is a seaside resort located in the town of Wallasey, in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, in Merseyside, England. It is situated on the eastern side of the Wirral Peninsula, on the banks of the River Mersey, opposite the city of Liverpool. New Brighton was originally developed in the mid-19th century as a popular holiday destination for the people of Liverpool. It grew rapidly in popularity during the Victorian era, with the construction of a pier, a promenade, a tower, and a number of hotels and guesthouses.

Today, New Brighton is a thriving seaside resort, with a wide range of attractions and amenities. These include a modern marina, a cinema, a bowling alley, a golf course, a number of restaurants and bars, and a range of shops and boutiques. The resort is also home to a number of historic landmarks, including the New Brighton Tower, which was built in 1900 and was one of the tallest structures in the country at the time. The tower was demolished in 1919, but the site is now home to a popular amusement park. New Brighton is also known for its sandy beaches, which are popular with tourists and locals alike. The beaches offer stunning views of the River Mersey and the Liverpool skyline, and are a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.
