AAP government removed the Chief Secretary, replaced Verma with Sinha, third CS change in two and a half years
Chandigarh | The Punjab government has made a major administrative reshuffle and appointed senior IAS officer of 1992 batch KAP Sinha as the new Chief Secretary. The new CS is among the senior IAS officers. When Anurag Verma was appointed Chief Secretary 15 months ago, Sinha was also in the race for the post. He has nearly 20 years of experience and has also handled responsibility of many departments. Sinha is an IAS officer of 11 October 1992 batch. He will retire on 31 December 2027. While Anurag Verma of 5 September 1993 batch will retire on 31 July 2029.
