Canada's Nebula Group shows interest in investing in Punjab
Nebula Group President and Chairman Raman Khatra said that the company wants to set up a food processing plant in Punjab. Where tomatoes, citrus fruits, juices, and potatoes will be collected from an area of around 10,000 hectares. This will increase the shelf life of frozen and fresh food products with the use of ozone. A plant will be set up by the company near Doraha, which will provide employment to the youth. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the company will use its expertise to clean the Budha drain of Ludhiana with the latest technology. Every effort will be made to reduce the TDS level of water to less than 100 so that it can be potable.
While this will solve the problem of plastic waste, it will also promote a clean and green environment. On this occasion, Nebula Group Chairman Raman Khatra said that despite living abroad, he wanted to set up an enterprise to create employment opportunities for the youth of his state.
