OPPO is reportedly preparing a new member of its Find series, tentatively named the “Find X9s”, which aims to combine a compact design with a major battery upgrade. According to trusted tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Find X9s will feature a battery bigger than 7,000 mAh despite being a “compact” flagship.

If the leaks hold true, this would mark a substantial leap in battery capacity when measured against its predecessor — for example, the Find X8s (a previous compact flagship) reportedly carried a 5,700 mAh battery. OPPO appears to be following its recently stated mantra “no 7000, no flagship” for 2025, signalling that 7,000 mAh+ may now be considered a baseline for its premium models.

Beyond battery size, early hints suggest that the Find X9s will retain a compact display (possibly around 6.3 inches) and follow much of the design language seen in the standard Find X9 model. Rumoured key specs include: a flagship-level MediaTek Dimensity 9500+ chipset (or similar), a triple rear-camera setup (50 MP main + wide + periscope), wireless charging support, and IP68/IP69-class durability.

The timing also matches OPPO’s cadence: the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro were unveiled in October 2025, and the Find X9s is expected to arrive around April 2026 as part of the line extension.  If realised, the Find X9s would be one of the more interesting “small‐phone” flagships given that it combines premium specs with a battery capacity typically found in larger devices.

No official word has yet been released by OPPO regarding pricing, a global launch timeline, or regional availability for the Find X9s. Potential buyers interested in a compact, high-end phone with serious battery life should keep an eye on forthcoming announcements.
