Crop Insurance Scheme Week organized by Union Agriculture Minister
On the occasion of the completion of 75 years of independence, under the Amrit Mahotsav campaign, the Prime Minister's Fasal Bima Yojana week was virtually inaugurated by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. State's Minister of State for Agriculture Lakhan Singh Rajput flagged off LED publicity vehicles for selected districts, with the help of which farmers were informed about the benefits of the crop insurance scheme.

The effect of the hard work of the farmers is that during the Corona period, the maximum production of 625 lakh metric tonnes of food grains in 2020-21.
An insurance scheme will be effective in doubling the income of the farmers and keeping the income stable in the disaster. By adopting the scheme, farmers can contribute to economic development by keeping the crop safe from natural calamities. Now this scheme has been made voluntary, which can be availed by farmers.
