ED searched bank accounts and lockers of private hospitals
The ED team on Friday searched the bank accounts and lockers of private hospital operators in the banks of Kangra city, Veerta and Dharamshala in connection with the investigation into the alleged irregularities in the Ayushman Bharat Health Card Scheme. ED officials reached SBI, Punjab National Bank Kangra, Veerta, Union Bank of India and other banks in Kangra after 2 pm on Friday afternoon.
Bank officials checked the bank accounts of three private hospitals of Kangra, Fortis, Balaji and City Hospital Ghurkadi. Till the time of writing the news, officials are busy investigating the bank. Earlier on July 31, the ED team had raided three private hospitals of Kangra and the houses of their operators and seized records
