Major e-commerce companies are increasing exports from India
In order to shift business from China, many e-commerce companies are increasing exports from India to America and Europe. American e-commerce company Amazon Inc. is planning to export goods worth about Rs 42 thousand crore from India this year. In 2023, Amazon exported small goods worth about Rs 25 thousand crore from India to markets like America and Britain.
This move of one of the world's largest e-commerce companies underlines India's growing role in the global supply chain. Walmart Inc. has also planned to increase its supply from India to Rs 84 thousand crore annually by 2027. In 2020, Walmart exported goods worth Rs 25 thousand crore from India.
