Hero MotoCorp has rolled out the latest Hero Splendor+ range in 2025, updating India's most popular commuter motorcycle to meet OBD 2B emission norms. The lineup now includes the Splendor plus, Splendor plus XTEC, and the feature-rich Splendor plus XTEC 2.0. With a refreshed design, digital cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlight, and dual-tone paint options, the new Splendor aims to blend affordability with modern features while retaining its reputation for reliability and fuel efficiency.

Hero Splendor: India’s Iconic Commuter Motorcycle

The Hero Splendor is a long-standing name in India’s two-wheeler market, produced by Hero MotoCorp. It is widely valued for reliability, fuel efficiency, and low maintenance costs.

Specifications and Variants

  • The base model, Splendor Plus, is powered by a 97.2 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces about 8.02 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque.

  • It uses a four-speed manual gearbox.

  • The fuel tank capacity is approximately 9.8 litres.

  • Its kerb (or wet) weight is about 112 kg.

  • Among its variants is the Splendor Plus XTEC, which adds features like a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity (for call/SMS alerts), a real-time mileage indicator, USB charging port, and LED position lamp.
