Capcom today released updated data on its best-selling games showing how much some of its biggest releases have sold.
The Platinum list of titles includes titles that have sold a million copies or more. As of March 31, 2019, Capcom’s roster has already exceeded one hundred games.
Monster Hunter: World continues to be a huge success for the company with 12.4 million units sold, but there are others that are also noteworthy.
The most recent release, Devil May Cry 5, has already sold 2.1 million units since its launch on March 8. It should be noted that the figure was reached before the company’s financial report, so it has basically sold that in less than a month.
The Resident Evil 2 remake, meanwhile, has sold 4.2 million units from January to March 31, a figure slightly higher than the number of units distributed that was offered in February.
Of all the games in the Resident Evil series, the best-selling game is currently Resident Evil 5 with 7.5 million units, closely followed by Resident Evil 6 with 7.3 million and Resident Evil 7 with 6.4 million.
Street Fighter 5 has also entered the Platinum list with 3.1 million units sold to date.
