In the last two months, the price of steel has come down by up to 13 percent. This is believed to be an effect of the fall in iron ore prices. In July 2021, the price of steel had reached Rs 53-54 thousand per tonne, which has now fallen to around Rs 45-46 thousand per tonne. In view of this, the hope of the builders has also been raised. The prices of houses built by builders increase every year during the festive season, but this year till now there is no such indication.

Industrialists say that the fall in steel prices is due to the fall in iron ore prices. In view of this, the businessmen associated with real estate also say that in the festive season, there will be no increase in the prices of houses in any way. Consumers will get the full benefit of this. In the coming days also, there are signs of a fall in steel prices. Steel prices can go to the level of Rs 43 thousand. Anil Nacharani, president of Chhattisgarh Sponge Iron Association said that the price has come down due to cheap iron ore.
