SAD supremo Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was declared Tankhaiya by Takht Shri, has resigned from the post of party chief. The fourth term of SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, who has been serving as chief since 2008, was to end on December 14. 28 days before that, Sukhbir decided to leave the post of chief. The Badal family had the post of chief continuously for 28 years and 2 months. Sukhbir, who became chief in 2008, remained chief for 16 years and 2 months. In the current situation, acting chief Balwinder Singh Bhandari has called an emergency meeting of the executive on November 18 at the party headquarters in Chandigarh. The name of the new chief will be considered in this meeting.
